We started by putting down drop sheets to ensure the protection of staircase and other surfaces.
Once everything was covered up, we wiped down all surfaces free from dust, hammered in any nail pops, spackled nail holes and caulked where needed up to the baseboards. This job consisted of work to the hermitage staircase walls only.
Once spackle was dry, we sanded to a smooth finish using fine grit sand paper, then wiped down baseboards and any sanding debris.
We then spot primed any patches, painted a fresh coat of white flat ceiling paint, ran out all trim with a satin interior latex paint.
Two coats of Macaroon Cream 1/2 tint Porter Paints on the walls and this area was as good as new. Another job well done in Hermitage 37076.
